Darkness is a primal devil, eldritch devils that represent primal fears inherent to almost anything. Primals are significantly stronger than any other thing in the manga and are pretty much unkillable, but Darkness isn't the most powerful devil alive, It's the Death devil.

It's possible, but the most likely outcome currently is that Blood reincarnated much like Control did as Nayuta. It's unknown if he'll actually cross paths with Blood again, recently he mentioned the promise to Power, so it's likely.

I still think that the other conclusions to the end of life Devils were much stronger than Death and they she is only so powerful because Pochita erased them.

It is implied that Chainsawman killed almost all of the devils present on Earth in their past life. But he is not the only one killing devils in hell, nor is he the only one that can send devils to Earth.

And it seems like their are multiple ways to travel between hell and Earth besides dying, especially if you are a powerful devil.

I think Denji gain a new form at pure endgame without having his contract broken.

Each had their own reasons for why they fought Pochita. He has a big reputation as the Hero of Hell, even Darkness wanted his heart. Conquest became so infatuated with Pochita that she wanted to play house with him. War just wants to prove her superiority to him. Death is likely really obsessed with CSM (see her earrings) because he's the only one who can really kill her. Don't know what Famine's deal was.

If you think about it, War devil fucked up by possessing Asa, a female teenager with lots of emotional problems, of all people. It's like when Migi failed to take over Shinichi's brain and possessed his right hand instead.

I don't think he will, CSM is mostly inspired by western comics such as Spiderman. In these stories the hero usually overcomes stronger foes through guile, you generally don't see Spiderman scream and become Super Spider 2 to defeat his super duper powerful opponents, this is exactly how Part 1 concluded, Denji never attained the power to face Makima directly, he devised a plan to trick her into dropping her guard.

If Asa and Yoru are truly separate entities, I feel like this was done intentionally by death. But at the same time Asa is the one with the potential to be the most destructive out of both of them because she has empathy and feels guilt to make absurdly powerful weapons, so her purpose in the whole situation is unknown.

I'd say Asa is the scary one between the two. Her naviety combined with war's ability to weaponize anything she perceives as hers, on top of that she can use devils's abilities and contracts if they get weaponized AND the guiltier she feels the more powerful the weapon is. Asa could easily attain god-like power. She could easily delude herself in thinking that every weapon and every combatant belongs to war, therefore they can be weaponized.
Makes sense why Death is investing so much in her.
