Updating the thread, after watching the first episode I think I'll make this a weekly thing. It's cute, I didn't expect it to be Yuri but I can get behind that. Overall I quite liked it, the good animation and a good dub made me enjoy it even more

If I can be serious for a second. For as ecchi, as this series can be, and make no mistake, it has no issues about being ecchi when it want to. I think people have painted a dishonest picture about what Dragon Maid as a series is. iI's not in your face about about it but there is depth for these characters and they're more than the gags and archetypes they're given.
It kinda bothers me how people genuinely seem to think it's nothing but fanservice with Lucoa hanging her tits out and Kanna has regular lewd scenes she doesn't btw, much to the chagrin of many a lolicon

The anime is super censored and sterile compared to the manga, and despite KyoAni raping it so much with censorship the fact that normalfaggots STILL recoil at the what's left of the "fanservice" in the anime is hilarious to me.
They should have just made a faithful adaptation at that point, but I'm beginning to think their directors are also prudish losers at this point.

I guess "short stack" is also an accurate alternative but the phrase "oppai loli" is Japanese and fits into Anon Babble culture better.
