New episode tonight!
Lazarus
5 episode rule.
Western slop, don't care
According to Shinichiro Watanabe, all his Anime (Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy, Samurai Champloo, Carole and Tuesday, Lazarus) takes place in the same universe.
"I've always thought my shows took place in the same universe."
Cope weeb
Very gay
Subs when
Is this AOTS?
anime of the shitter
yeah
Anime of the season
Is it out?
it's really whatever but then again I already thought the show is beyond salvation while people thought the show picked up in 4th episode so i'm just gonna believe in what i think.
Is it Yaoi?
So this retroactively ruins Cowboy Bebop?
No.
He made his own MCU
Every episode of this show is further burning Watanabe's reputation.
1998: Red-haired caramel-colored computer hacker from Watanabe is one of my favorite characters ever
2025: Red-haired caramel-colored computer hacker from Watanabe is one of my most hated characters ever
The only thing that would make me hate this timeline worse is if she turns out to be Ed's mother.
only the first and fourth episode had anything going for it and it wasn't much. it's pretty mid
but also every episode has been written directed and storyboarded by different people so that might have something to do with it
Latina?

Bump
French streams are out.
No more English subs lol.
You're not gonna lose a lot without reading the subs anyway
they infiltrate Delta Medicinal, Axel manage to find the CEO, ask where Skinner is but CEO also wants to find him.
they come up with a plan that they'll make a fake conference that they've found the antidote, hoping Skinner or the other hacker will take the bait
it immediately becomes a hacking showdown (AKA Eleina typing and swiping screen really fast) trying to track down where the hacker is located
by the end they manage to find the location but it's fruitless because the hacker has a moving base and she (?) just throws the laptop off the cliff anyway.
So Samurai Champloo> Terror in Resonance> Lazarus> Carole and Tuesday> Cowboy Bebop> Space Dandy?
This is so oddly sensual
but it's fruitless
Summarizes the entire show
Did anything happen this episode? It was just a lot of hacker talk
That was pretty gay and the action felt so flat in the elevator fight. Last episode action was actually good
The story is just spinning its wheels every week. Pure filler right up until the final episode most likely.
2052: Animal testing begins for the miracle painkiller "Hapna," with no side effects.
2052: Clinical trials of Hapna on humans commence.
2052: Clinical trials of Hapna are completed.
2052: Hapna is approved and sales begin as a prescription drug.
2052: Hapna is mass-produced and widely abused globally for its euphoric effects
2052: Hapna frees humanity from suffering, leading to world peace.
2052: Dr. Skinner delivers a speech at the UN General Assembly:“The Arctic ice will melt in three years.”
2052: Dr. Skinner’s speech prompts permanent members to withdraw from the UN.
2052: Dr. Skinner disappears.
Too busy, too ridiculous, too unrealistic.
There was no substitute for the COVID vaccine, but Hapna is a painkiller, so there are countless excellent alternatives, so there is no reason to end the clinical trials in 3 months. The person who came up with the plot for this anime is probably an idiot.
I'm feeling romantical~~
thank god gay watanabe earth gets destroyed then
also when is DMG's release
the Trump administration changed the rules around that "to eliminate bureacracy" so the plot writer is ahead of the curve if anything.
the HHS recently published an anti-trans report with anonymous sources and broken links in under three months of it being announced, completely unprofessional

Copy paste
Had to handle stuff at work, soon™. The French streams no longer have English subtitles so the release will have edited/restyled dubtitles.
I thought the story is set in 2055
and all sources, including the official website,
said it is set in 2055, but it seems to actually be set in 2052.
Her ID expires in 2053.
Did nobody check the story timeline?!?!?!
lazarus.aniplex.co.jp
The year is 2052.
The world is entering an unprecedented era of peace, and the painkiller "Hapuna" developed by neurologist Dr. Skinner has made a major contribution to this.
Hapuna spread all over the world as a "miracle drug" with no side effects, freeing humanity from pain.
However, Skinner, its developer, suddenly disappeared, and no one knew where he was.
--Three years later, he reappears as a demon that will lead the world to ruin.
Hapuna is a drug that causes users to develop symptoms and die after three years, a trap set for them.
"There are 30 days left. If you can find my location by then, humanity can survive."
The only way to save the world is to use the only vaccine Skinner has.
And he says that if you want it, you have to find him.
Modern anime
Did anyone watch it?
The fat hacker and the tranny and then the gay shit last episode have been huge turnoffs.
I think Demarco injected his jewish beliefs into the show and it shows,
Cope
This is how hackers look like.
Am I the only one who likes Lazarus?
Yes
tries to make a show that panders to a wide range of diversity
no one discusses it
Actually pretty fucking ironic when you think about it
People are busy watching To be hero X
People are busy watching donghua because anime is dead
Chinks don't shit up their superior anime with DEI shit like this one, for once.
