The new anime is entertaining, but it can't be as moving as the old one with such a quick pace. Not only we're going full speed, there's stuff happening that is supposed to happen much later.
It would'nt hurt to spend a couple of episodes more in the childhood of Anne, to introduce characters that are supposed to be important, like Diana's aunt.

Judy watcher here. Finished watching her show a couple of days ago and I’m planning on reading the book soon. I really enjoyed it. Judy is a great character and I love her.
Though I find it hilarious how the show had a similar trajectory as Anne of the Island where Gilbert/Daddy had to almost die first before sealing the deal with their heroines I need more shows like Anne’s and Judy’s.
