Even a a deck focused around Penguin Soldier can have more plays and counterplays than 'set 1 card, pass'. Will it beat meta? Probably not, but there's no reason for any deck to lie down and die when playing against meta either.

It literally doesn't; all play and counterplay is shut down by meta deck which as said before negates all of it.

Duel Links is a bit more strict both mirror Force and monster reborn both have a limit one except you can only have one or the other. You can't have both in your deck

This has always been a lolwat take because you're trying to misinfo that old cards had lots of text and then it misses the context that it's one(1) situational card out of the entire cardpool and your average card is Penguin Soldier.
Relinquished is a boss monster for a specific deck. Last Turn apparently ends the duel right there and the text says how it does that.
