the king of Anon Babble?
Madoka fucking sucks and I'm tired of pretending otherwise
Why does Anon Babble have such a hate boner for HxH
Madoka fucking sucks and I'm tired of pretending otherwise
why?
Between Madoka and Fate Zero. Both have the strongest legacies. Madoka probably wins out because it started with nothing yet revolutionized an entire genre.
I really dislike Steins;Gate
both the highest-rated were written by Butcher
What's he doing these days?
why
strongest legacies
what about steins;gate
revolutionized an entire genre
I've heard people say utena did that
The 2011 anime isn't even the best HxH anime.
What if magical girl but....... LE HECKING DRAMATIC!?
fuck off
Deconstruction of a genre is not revolutionizing the genre.
HxH does way more to the legacy of manga.
I think at least partially because it's a remake and the original 1999 anime is a bit more aesthetic
what about the message?
Bokurano did the same shit in 2003
Except it was mecha
Madoka feels like a rip off of a bunch of different other stuff
Madoka feels like a rip off of a bunch of different other stuff
What do you think art is?
Daily reminder that Madoka isn't a deconstruction.
what about eva
Eva is only a deconstruction if you've never watched any other mecha anime.
What do you think art is?
Both rubber and gum
decent decent shit
good decent shit
Wow what an amazing year for anime
what's wrong with steins;gate?
This isn't a criticism of Madoka, it's a criticism of people's perception of Madoka.
Dogshit le quirky protag and a time plot that Edge of Tomorrow did better.
Puppets until early this year
Hyouge Mono
Madoka, and it’s not even close. It’s to the Magical Girl genre and anime as a whole what Eva was to both the mecha genre and anime all the way back in 1995-1996.
Stein’s Gate shouldn’t even be on here since it’s an adaptation and not an anime original.
Madoka > S;G > F/Z = HxH > Nichijou > AnoHana
What if you ignore the deconstruction? says it isn't
S;g > fate zero > madoka > anohara > hxh > Nichijou
Why Fate/Zero > Madoka?
What is a deconstruction if not destroying a commonly held wish-fulfillment fantasy and applying realistic consequences to it?
Madoka fits that description for the Magical Girl genre to a Tee.
Steins;Gate is the obvious choice, being still as well regarded as it was then.
Nichojou is great, Anohana was fun, Madoka is okay. The other two I don't care.
Guilty Crown
steins;gate
this is a great choice as well
Penguindrum
1. Kyousogiga ONA
2. Mawaru penguindrum
3. Nichijou
4. Usagi drop
5. Hotarubi no mori e
6. A letter to momo
7. Hyouge mono
8. Chihayafuru
9. Un go
10. Tiger & bunny
None, all of them sucked
What's better
Fate Zero>Madoka>HxH>Stein's Gate>Anohana
Very strong lineup with even the one that's my least favorite being an 8/10. Nichijou's on my PTW list.
Hunter x Hunter, not even a contest in hindsight. Anohana is a boring soap opera, Nichijou one of the unfunniest comedies ever made, Madoka is alright but unremarkable, Steins;Gate is 50% filler 50% decent time travel thriller and Fate/Zero again is just another alright at best Urobutcher series.
Because of hxh trolls a few years back.
Nichijou and Madoka were fine, but honestly, 2011 had way better shows than any of that.
