How has Dandadan only gotten out two volumes in half a year, are they holding shit back to release with the second cour

Is the manga slow to release chapters?

I want Sukuna to fuck me against the wall with his 2 massive cocks

47. Dragon Ball Super #24 [2025.04.04] - 147,390

Imagine how bad the sales would be without any pretense of Toriyama's involvement. No wonder they're reluctant to go forward with it.

Frieren is now the third highest selling ongoing manga series

Apologise

T. Gege

10. Yotsuba&! #16 [2025.02.26] - 398,383

Only one that really matters.

My Hero Academia? Deserve it title as a King.

Chainsaw Man hasn’t been good in years

jjk sales drop 27 percent

still number 1

I love gege and jjk

44. A Bride's Story #15 [2024.11.20] - 159,166

Based.

l_tnfignk.jpg - 600x600, 164.84K

all titles are down significantly, there's no brand new battle shonen with anime adaptation to dominate sales so far

But it's 4th behind One Piece, Spy X Family and Kingdom?

Not true MHA is up by 90%.

brand new battle shonen anon....

oh, fuck yea.

I know but you said all title is down so I said MHA isn't down.

Nope, it's weekly. There was a 5 week hiatus a few months ago though.

Am I reading this right? JJK is the best selling manga of this year, without releasing a chapter since Sept. 2024?

Goddamn.

01./01. Jujutsu Kaisen [Gege Akutami] (Weekly Shōnen Jump / Shūeisha) {2 volumes} - 3,368,504 (-27%)

01. Jujutsu Kaisen #30 [2024.12.25] - 1,261,782

03. Jujutsu Kaisen #29 [2024.12.25] - 1,235,443

Nice, strong finishes for JJK. Awesome.

03./05. Blue Lock [Muneyuki Kaneshiro / Yusuke Nomura] (Weekly Shōnen Magazine / Kōdansha) {2 volumes} - 1,898,324 (-12%)

This includes spinoffs, which makes it 4 volumes

05./10. My Hero Academia [Kōhei Horikoshi] (Weekly Shōnen Jump / Shūeisha) {1 volume} - 1,751,598 (+38%)

Pretty sure this also includes spinoffs and fanbooks.

12. World Trigger #28 [2025.02.04] - 382,625

Still going strong

sakamoto

Apologize to the anime

It survived against all odds. Just like that dude's back

Everyone are just moving to online storefronts
Oricon won't know shit if people buy digital or have it delivered instead

medalist

Gross

Kingdom vol 74 has currently sold more but was released 3 months earlier than Frieren vol 14, if we compare to Kingdom vol 75 which was released on the same day then we can see that Frieren has sold (slightly) more so Frieren vol 14 sales should creep passed Kingdom vol 74 sales too.

And it's only really a top 3/4 ongoing title for individual volume sales. Frieren won't get anywhere near the top10 end of year total sales because there will only be a single volume released in this hiatus hell.
Maybe next year

?? It's not even top 10 can't you read

By individual volume sales it's really only One Piece and Spy x Family that outsell it now

It doesn't work that way. Frieren had already peaked from its first anime boost. It will gradually go down at this point and any future anime seasons will show diminishing returns as well, considering how the manga on its own didn't manage to get a resurgence it's unlikely for the anime to do any better in that regard.

So the sales for each volume will gradually be less and less.

Unironically kill yourself.

It doesn't work that way

If they publish two volumes next year then they will sell more total volumes than this year, this isn't debatable it's just maths

04. My Hero Academia #42 [2024.12.04] - 937,925

Meet Consistency Man.

I was referring to individual volume sales.

Do you guys think Apothecary is worth reading? I really dislike waiting for chapters to release, but maybe.. This could be worth it right?
I almost dropped JJK while weekly reading tournament arc
