Two years later though, it's only vastly improved. Right now it's going really, really fucking hard. To be frank, the only reason I think people have to dislike it is if they're some kind of hyper-polarized /politics/ retard that thinks they're not allowed to like it because redditors keep calling Dragona trans.

The only good thing about Part 9 is the fact that double pages look stunning. Everything else is either average or feels underwhelming as fuck. Dull story and copypaste Part 5 characters but worse (how???) makes even those good looking pages not enough to have fun. If I hadn't been a JoJo fan for almost 25 years, I wouldn't have read every new chapter of this shit.

I remember those shitstorms. "Muh trans representation", "it's only cosplay", "it's Hawaiian culture", there were many different arguments supporting one side or another. It was shortly after the manga started its serialization, so there weren't much things to discuss. And here we are, two years later those discussions, even considering their low quality, feel nostalgic. Not many people want to discuss the actual Part 9 content, because it's simply mediocre.
