I have never used any of those words to describe an anime I didn't like. I usually just say that I thought it was bad or boring but I also try to describe it in neutral ways in case it would be interesting to the person I'm talking to.
I don't use the word edgy to criticize things I like. Edgy is good.

I agree with you on "pretentious" and "edgy", just because they're cliches and usually misused, and I agree that while I can definitely see where people are coming from with "forced animation", it's quite a vague term and there needs to be more specificity with what makes the animation come across as bad other than "forced", which sounds like people are complaining that the animation is too good.
Other than that, most of these terms are fine.
The main problem with this animation for example is how visually cluttered and hard to understand it is, it doesn't clearly get across what is going on in the scene and just looks like flashy nonsense.
Pretentious means fuck all and edgy is just a style/setting descriptor, just like fanservice that you had no problems with.

Simply a description, not a criticism. Can be good or bad depending on how it's used. I mostly enjoy it but it can be used inappropriately too. Sexual excitement clashes with stuff like sadness or suspense so if you're having an emotional scene of a girl crying about her dead sister and the camera is stuck up her skirt it simply doesn't work.
edgy
Popular use is so far removed from the dictionary definition of "cutting edge" so I'm going off how I see it being used. Stuff like extreme violence, gore, rape, etc. that you would typically see in B-movies. Once again nothing inherently wrong. Hellsing is edgy but it matches the entire theme it's going for. However if I'm watching Yuru Camp and suddenly a bear shows up and violently mauls the girls I'm gonna be pissed because it doesn't fit.
