Lazarus might have been judged as promising anime in normal circumstances, but here we deal with high set of expectations set by Cowboy Bebop and name Watanabe, so everything less than Cowboy Bebop/Space Dandy is by default deemed disappointing.

To Be Hero X - amazing OST and songs
Gundam - terrible ost, ok songs that however dont fit the Gundam and mood at all

Story:
To Be Hero X contained a worth on its own great story within single episode, with greaet highlights and cliffhanders.
Gundam was exposition dump and nonsensic pile of random events leaving viewer confused at best. Extremely sloppoy directing and writing.

Action:
To Be Hero X - amazing Arcane style action as well traditional animation sakuga
Gundam - poorfags CG with messy moderls and not even 2d special effects, cant see wtf happening on screen since models become poligonal mess in movement. Fucking Isekai about reincarnated into Evil Galactic Ruler guy had more impressive space mecha combat than Gundam ep1

the point is To Be Hero X just had a best start. We dont know yet how the rest of the show will be, especially as it will have separate hero arcs with different animation styles. But the only ones denying its qualities are exact "not real anime" fags who consume low budget generic LN adaptations or sloppy animation work like Lazarus, where they seem to have ran out of money for inbetweeners.

Yaiba is not his best work, its also not the work that is great fit for modern adaptation - its more like secondhand Ranma 1/2. Its decent, good animated (for now) - but its no hidden treasure.

CGDCT fans are watching it. Moe fans are watching it. Loli fans are watching it. Lifedrama fans are watching it. People who read or heard of the books are watching it. And people are watching it because others said it's good.

Not to mention, the old anime has always been respected here. There are people who are watching it for that alone.
