As far as anime works are concerned, this Ghost in the Shell is the fourth Ghost in the Shell after Oshii's, Kamiyama's and Kise's versions, or the 10th in the series that divides Ghost in the Shell and Innocence, divides the SAC series into seasons 1, 2 and SSS, and divides the ARISE series and the New Theatrical Edition and SAC_2045 series into seasons 1 and 2. Given that the production staff has changed, is it possible to consider this the first of a second generation series? I'll give up on the fact that the original manga is old (apologies), but I hope that this will be a good film that you can enjoy in some way.
