THE HEART

THE BLADE IS ME

The time of Rukia's execution....has remained the same.

Kino desu

Everything but the Rain...

TYBW

Chairzen is out

he's in the same room as Hinamori, let's see her character development

nvm she doesn't even appear while Chairzen is around

somehow reappears in the Royal Realm

It's impressive how few fucks Kubo has to give

This is honestly one of the best lines in manga.

also said by one of the hottest makes it impact more

I am... le evil for no reason

sasuga kubo

Imagine being too stupid for a manga aimed at teenage boys

he’s being evil for the pursuit of knowledge.

Is he even that evil? He larps as being pure evil but barely kills anyone

She was hiding because she didn't want to face it or feel her resolve waver.

Not exactly, no. He never did anything worse than what Yamamoto or the nobles or Royal Guard did. Remember, every zanpakuto is basically a mini-hogyoku made of countless shinigami souls. Millions of people who don't get to live so they can become steel for a few thousand swords.

The worst things Aizen did, IMO, were allowing souls to soul-suicide by getting near him during Karakura Invasion arc, and taking the soul king fragments from people like Rangiku, which permanently stunted their growth (and was likely quite violating).

I can't recall him killing anyone except his own subordinates, Ichimaru and Tosen. But in both cases he had pragmatic reasoning. Tosen's heart was breaking and he was losing his resolve; he had no future with Soul Society except as a prisoner or death row inmate. Same with Ichimaru to an extent, except Ichimaru simply died from the injuries of their fight. He didn't vaporize Ichimaru but Orihime wasn't there to heal him either.

I very much believe that Aizen intended on being a good soul king. He wanted almost everyone to live so they could see his new world.

Royal Guards are complete hypocrites. Their own justification is that they maintain the order of a world that somehow found peace over thousands of years. Aizen wants to do better but he's willing to upset everyone's lives and happiness to do it.

Literally me.

Then she had no character development.

>I am... le evil for no reason

He was evil because he was superior to everyone else either mentally or strength wise, so he could never make any meaningful connections (he was lonely). Ichigo straight up said it to Urahara.

More or less. He felt like an outsider who could never fit in and be happy as "just a normal shinigami," even though a part of him wanted to. It's not that people like Yamamoto or Urahara didn't exist, it's just that the "special ones" were so few he probably just saw them as other outsiders.

He was pointless dick to Momo and Toushiro.

It became funny at some point, it was like he had decided to dunk on them because he could.

I love him

bleach is so cringe
yall cringe for liking this this cringe ass cartoon

The most midwitcore shounen antagonist of all time, the actual epitome of a genius written by an idiot

Kubo definitely wrote him to just be an asshole in those scenes, but you could argue he was trying to teach Momo to be more independent, and Hitsugaya to pay more attention to his friends. Also he probably used his shikai to make Momo sleep with random men thinking it was him.

I mean, Ichigo is 15.
Aizen is, like, 700?
You kinda lose interest...

A bullshit explanation Kubo made up after the fact.

Best girl

I honestly don't know why that line stayed with me for so long. Maybe its just Aizen

i am... evil because le reasons

holy midwit

Literally how the manga ended

He wants to be God, dumbass.

Looked to me like he was trying to teach Momo to be more independent from the state of being alive, but Momo is simply too stupid for that lesson.

he was superior to everyone else either mentally or strength wise

Guess that's why he specifically had to keep Yama from using his sword.

I really wonder what was the point of her character. And why Japanese fans liked her so much. And especially why they shipped her with Aizen. I mean, they loved Uriori too, but at least there the Ulquiorra cared about Orihime at the end and could've become a better person. While Aizen remains twisted to the very end.

It's the dominant male vs shy lady dynamics often seen in romance manga, I wouldn't be surprised if most of her fans didn't just use her to self-insert and had fantasies with Aizen.

Aizen dropping redpills

Japan doesn't like him as a character

Meanwhile the rest of the world understood what made him entertaining

he was jealous of them because deep down hes lonely

I still have fantasies with Aizen

Name a better shonen villain than Aizen

Toguro
That's it

that copeout at the end

nah

probably the best looking villain in manga

yhwach

dis show still runnin? damn nigga

Aizennever did anything worse than what Yamamoto or the nobles or Royal Guard did

Yeah, if not for the blasphemous nature of the hougyoku it's not unlikely that Aizen could have gotten permission for all the death and injury of all the Rukongai citizenry that went into crafting it.

The worst things Aizen did

If you disregard the numbers, then the most heinous thing about Aizen is his disregard for the will and well being of his peer captains and vice captains in the gotei. Even Mayuri will only torture and abuse his subordinates. And characters like Yamamoto and the Royal Guard would likely need to be compelled by circumstance to harm their peers and underlings. Though I suppose that argument goes right out the window the moment you accept Aizen's thesis that he is peerless.

I can't recall Aizen killing anyone

He murdered the entire governing body (Central 46) of the Sereitei, He caused potentially fatal injury in Hinamori Momo by getting other men to stab her with their swords, though his hollowfication experiments he killed Kaien Shiba, permanently injured Isshin Shiba, Bereft the Vizard captains and Kisuke & Yoruichi of their homes and livelihoods. He also got close to killing every living soul in Karakura town in order to make an Ouken and killing Rukia to extract Kisuke's Hougyoku, though I suppose getting close to doesn't actually equal fully executing.

I very much believe that Aizen intended on being a good soul king.

Unlike YHWH and Ichibei he never presented a coherent vision for how the world ought to be, he just didn't like the general system, he expressed disapproval of the nobility, central 46, what Yamamoto represents in the Gotei 13 squads and the current state of the soul king, I think he never even sets foot in the soul king's palace. He just thinks that he could do better if he had all the power because he's just the best simply the best.

Didn't Kubo neither confirm nor deny if Aizen fucked Momo?

he said villain

It's also a matter of mentality, Kyoraku would have had a much better chance of besting Aizen if he'd have released his Bankai, but he would never expose his allies to a danger like that if he had other options, Yama would have gone full force to try and kill Aizen collateral damage be damned.

why the shitpost?

the most underrated thing about the Soul Society arc is how the plot is about social stratification in SC. Aizen's thing is that he's a kind of trickster exploiting this weakness for his own gain. Is he evil for no reason? Kind of like that. There's a name for this trope, Machiavellian.

But Aizen illusions and everyone became friendly in the next arc

No, Aizen was exploiting something that was already there bubbling up inside them. Shonen friendship is a must so that the story doesn't become too complicated

Go to bed, Momo.

Adoration is the state furthest from understanding

What a load of trite bullshit.
Every great physicist would marvel at the beauty and simplicity of their discovery of the description of the universe

True Adoration by necessity requires understanding

gendo is a fucking villain you disingenious piece of shit

I don't see villains in eva

Every great physicist would marvel at the beauty and simplicity of their discovery of the description of the universe

you do realize that's why they discover without understanding it

Aizen probably could have dealt with going through life as a pleb if there was a God in charge of the world instead of a butchered corpse puppeted by a bunch of ghosts playing feudal lords over the single most brutal afterlife in fiction
