The streaming situation for Lazarus continues to be atrocious. The English/French versions of the show AMZN/MAX/AS have are unfinished. Japanese sources such as U-NEXT (+12h from broadcast) have retaken cuts, different eye catches, and remove ugly dimming in certain scenes. Despite this, U-NEXT is still worse overall due to lower quality video and MTL tier English subs. VIDIO were given the Japanese copy of the show. It's a shame their video stream is too low quality to use:

The best WEB release of this show will be Commie v2 w/ DNSP JP video (3 day eta, their v1 is worse than source) unless someone decides to do a better encode. It is thought that the MAX US subtitles will be identical to AMZN/MAX FR as dialogue in Episode 1 matches a translated preview uploaded by AS 1:1:

It has some mystery and danger going for it. One of the 5 main characters may die in some form or fashion. The first episode just being Axel showing off was kinda boring but the second episode feels better.
I mean... kind of? It's not like any significant amount of effort goes into releasing this show. Retiming the audio and muxing everything together takes maybe 15 minutes all in all.

I think it has promise. Action is obviously really good and weighty. The characters are so far tolerable/inoffensive, but that's probably a good sign because there is probably going to be an unwinding of the characters as the story progresses.
Biggest issue is how much it reminds of Cowboy Bebop, but the story structure does lend to it trying to stand on its own legs, so we'll see if something good is actually cooking. Basically, it gives an overall vibe that it's not trying too hard, which I think is promising.
