My theory is that Imu can awaken other df abilities by force. The black flames also showed up when the Elders and HKs used the abyss teleportation. Also when Shamrock used his df sword and when Imu sucked out Saturn's immortality.
I think when Imu grants other people awakened abilities they become bound to him/her. So Imu might be able to use the powers of all the people they formed a pact with.

So Imu is a bit like All for One from hero academia but grants the collection of powers Imu has onto others.

Killingham looks goofy but he also has a trijent so I figure he knows how to fight in close-combat as well. Qillins in mythology have lightning and fire powers so we might see him dish those out during a fight.

The arc after this one is gonna be Lodestar btw. The man with a burned mark will start a battle royale where every pirate is invited to fight for the last ponegliff aka God Valley style and so all the yonkos/prominent pirates/marines and maybe some HKs will descend onto the island in one big battle royale where Luffy and co will either steal it or outright win it. This way Oda will get rid of half the villains and also bring close the red ponegliff hunting arc and give way for the Laugh Tale and the subsequent final war. The Lodestar arc will be a lot like the Upper Yard 81 man match showdown style. Oda hinted at this in 2022 btw.

I don't know about the first king it could be BB's ancestor, but here's something interesting. The king on top of the elephant (likely Zunesha) has the same sillihoute and crown as Imu, and there was mention of a King Imu in history.

The take away is that it's standing on Zou in the mural. That makes me think it's someone on Joyboy's side. Likely Lily. Reason being what Doflamingo said about if he had Law's power he could take over that thing at the top of Marijoise and rule the world.

My guess in hindsight now that we know about Imu, is that Lily's body WAS that thing, King Imu stole her body with the Ope Ope and that's why she never returned to Alabasta, she was on Zou because she was part of Joyboy's crew hence her being a D, Doflamingo being a CD knew about it, and Lily is the forest god mentioned in the mural that sent the demons hence the garden at the top of Marijoise and why Imu is able to turn the Gorosei into immortal demons. Lily is also likely named after Adam from the bibles first wife Lilith, who rebelled and left the garden of Eden and became a witch before Eve came around. Note she's under the Eve tree, Oda clearly took biblical inspiration with a lot of the world stuff on top of Mayan sun god and Norse mythology stuff.
