I watch all my anime on my phone in bed. It’s the ultimate anime experience, laying down and watching stuff on my OLED screen. MX Player and its software rendering also does wonders to the image quality.

I keep my desktop next to my bed, and watch anime in a separate window (specifically Firefox's picture-in-picture mode) while playing Runescape.

I have a 77" OLED with 2.1 setup and mpv with some non-svp shaders is easy to setup (or mpc-hc with madvr and nneedi alternatively). I see no reason to watch anything from a phone screen and during commute or travel I would rather read a book or stare at an e-reader.
