To Be Hero X

our Ehero is coming back in season 2

this is a chinese-japanese production.

episode 8 teaser

“Rumoured to be blessed with luck, is it really a good thing? A young girl got placed onto a divine pedestal, how would she find her own self?”

“Being lucky doesn’t necessarily means it’s perfect”

this and link click really turned me around on chinese cartoons
my only other impressions were some random chinese vampire cartoon that I dropped when the language was unbearable to listen to
thankfully To Be Hero X has a jap dub but the lipsync is obviously made for chinese still

file.png - 592x439, 245.61K

it is genuinely incredible how irritating the chinese language is to hear, like how the fuck does that happen.

Link Click and To Be Hero X are made by the same person.

yeah and i like em both
prob explains the relatively high amount of bro on bro friendly action as well but maybe that's just chinese culture

file.jpg - 886x821, 321.97K

ye, Li Haoling.

then don't watch a chinese donghua weeb

i'm really worried that the show will not reach the absolute PEAK that was this arc ever again.

youtube.com/watch?v=-7Lc-J4_HTA

the PVs seem rather promising
lots of hidden bits of info that the show didn't even show that they reference as well without a second thought like the fight old esoul had that caused him to forsake his signature move

youtube.com/watch?v=ksQR1VSAxY4

file.png - 554x480, 432.78K

i really want to know more about Zero and the Past Xs

He's basically a morally bankrupt retarded puppet.
I can't think of a less appealing character.
I'll be surprised if he doesn't come dead last in the popularity poll after all characters have their episodes aired.

We'll likely get some info on Johnny's dad and E-soul with Johnny and Ghostblade, but all the other guys except the one directly before X won't get mentioned likely. Zero shows up too often and is referenced too much to never appear again I think

his name is hun dian you bigot

a morally bankrupt retarded puppet.

you act like that's not something that can be improved upon. He's basically Darth Vader. People love Darth Vader in the end.

There's also that concept art of him when he's older sitting in the love chair and fixing some broken doll, so there's clearly a potential avenue to explore his remaining humanity.

I think if he gets shown in more of a mentor role to younger heroes (loli, technically cyan, Johnny. He's shown interacting with other heroes later. I imagine he's going to be pretty much just a Ling Lin antagonist after the moon murder though despite being in a prime mentor role

I can't believe he's not going to have a role. It's like being friends with a girl who becomes an idol and starts ignoring you. What the fuck.

file.png - 901x927, 934.96K

I'll be surprised if he doesn't come dead last in the popularity poll after all characters have their episodes aired.

irrelevant, creator already said he is the most complex character

creator already said he is the most complex character

You love making shit up

I love the fake propaganda they're making. It adds alot to the worldbuilding and I wish more shows would do stuff like this.

i really liked it mostly because yang felt more like an actual human instead of a protagonist i normally find annoying when a character is just insecure or cant make an easy decision but the show knew how to hammer home how important was for him the title of hero and how it ended playing against him there are things that i would like them to explain like what was uncle expecting from the hitman and why he made that restaurant in the first place

i would like them to explain like what was uncle expecting from the hitman and why he made that restaurant in the first place

my impression is that old e-soul wasnt as profitable so he decided to do the whole lot of e-souls thing to find a successor and eventually landed on the protag. Maybe he had already seen him as the best candidate since he knew protag was saved by e-soul.

So the hitman would be to have protag hate e-soul and ask for the fight. The cafe I guess he opened it when he saw potential in protag in order to groom him (he was a friendless orphan with 0 trust value) so he'd be very groomable

Anyone else preordering the BDS? It's 20k for 7epe so it's not as expensive as other shows

Honestly this whole thing needed one more episode. It wasn't bad, but it needed more time to cook.
I kind of wonder what happened to the kid.

Im glad we are finally getting an arc about a real hero and not a random-ass usurper

I quite like this how arc went from a story about a guy starting at rock bottom, then copyright infringement and dirty dealing and finally a revenge epic directed at the wrong person.
I really wish that the old E-Soul actually had more to say about the entire thing. He's just a complete cypher.
All-in-all they needed more time for this to breathe, though I'm relatively satisfied with what we got.

it belongs in Anon Babble

take a nap

thread didn't die

i am surprised
felt like Anon Babble is avoiding this purely because its a chinese cartoon like I did before giving it a whirl

file.png - 1695x1368, 3.14M

Anons said the same after Ling's arc

desu i gave it a chance purely due to the music
New Type Of Hero, Paragon, Inertia, Jeopardy and now Neon rain are all amazing songs.

Oh, I was expecting Queen to be some kind of Ojou from a wealthy family but she grew up pretty normal?

I kind of wish they just stuck with the 3D because the obvious CG assets in some shots stick out pretty bad with the 2D. It's really noticeable with the crowds. It was an alright episode, but I felt like the part with the people taking advantage of Cyan's power ate up too much time. The episode really improved once it focused more on Cyan and her relationship with the boy which is likely going to end in a heart breaking fashion.

This anime is really fucking good.
The first episode was meh or even stupid, but the rest are really something else.
Amazing story and animation.

just stuck with the 3D

anon this is 3d animation or at least helped by cgi. It doesn't move like traditional 2d

I think it's because they use too many cacophonic sounds one after another without breaks.
Chinese sounds like "shi shu shzhchshsh shsh zhshsh chchch". Add a high pitch and random intonation.
It's fucking annoying.

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case, it holds an infinite amount of secrets. These are secrets that only Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang are able to find. In a small shop called "Time Photo Studio," the two friends provide a special service: using their extraordinary powers that let them enter photographs, they jump into pictures brought to them by clients in order to grant their wishes. Through the eyes of the photographer, they live through the events surrounding the picture and try to decipher how to solve their client's request. But every time they jump into a picture, they take a great risk. One wrong move and they could alter the future of the person who took the picture... and possibly countless other events too. So when the events they are forced to live through in these pictures start to become personal, it will take the utmost strength to push their feelings aside and focus on accomplishing the task they were paid to do.

What is this anime really about? Sounds kind of homosexual. Is it yaoi?

*becomes corrupted by money in the span of like 5 seconds and starts to make a cult*

I feel like this only happens with the type of CN used in tv because mandarin that i hear IRL and via street interviews never sound as annoying as the people on tv. It's such a weird disccount because I agree with everything you say but then i heard mandarin, cantonesee, hakka etc from irl people and it's no where near as annoying? I wonder if it's on cadence or something like a newscaster?

it starts off as "mystery of the week" with two bros that have a time travel power
without spoiling anything major it evolves to move away from that format and become more of a story surroundin the main characters and an introduced cast later
it sadly is only dubbed in chinese to my knowledge, so that might be a deal breaker
as a chinese language hater myself I ended up sticking with it though
I don't think China allows gays, they just like their bros, surely!

to be fair cults like that make infinitely more sense in this universe because them worshiping something has an actual real world effect on things
you can not fucking tell me that people wouldn't join a cult that would make them lucky

Add a high pitch and random intonation

I dunno with Scissor Seven I felt like everything sounded extremely low pitch

Alright. I'll check it out, then! Thanks for the recommendation.

I liked the first ep, it felt like it served as a decent introduction to this universe, its the reason why nice had 4 episodes planned while most have 2/3

I think it was pretty good, not great but I didn't mind it for the most part.
The only thing that really stood out to me were the ball and the choir of bunch of A posing kids

wrestling in the TBHX world must be the coolest shit ever.

The first episode was meh or even stupid

it was enough to get my interested in watching more, so I think it did its job
gonna sound cliche as fuck but it let me know that it wasn't going to just be a chinese my hero clone and leaning more into judging the whole identity/fame/worship of heroes and not be all sunshine and rainbows
hoping it stays good, since its an original we don't know how it'll turn out

Just saw the trailer of X fighting the cloning guy, days after catching up to the show. What the fuck man. That's so cool. Please let this guy show up at least a bit before the literal end of the series.

So was Old E-Soul who won or the New one? It seems it's not clear going by comments I've read.

I told ya'll the 2D was a sign of a downgrade.

im pretty sure new e-soul won but when you get the other's trust score you get forced to become what those believers believe in/want you to be, so there's probably a mix in there?
he's missing an arm now like old esoul but my guess is he lost it in the final clash

Ohh hey orphanage direction is a cool....

ohh wait he goes to shit

Well, here's our badguy for the arc.

Yang Chang won, but we have absolutely no idea what happens when Trust values merge. Yang Chang probably was forced to inherit a whole bunch of E-Soul's traits the moment their values merged.

The last scene with Cyan felt extremely fucking weird because it felt like something that should happen when they are teenagers and not preteens
it just didn't feel like something a kid would do

if I had to guess he might appear during the mystery episode(EP 20) but before that I wouldn't count on it.

It's really not though. It's 2d assisted cgi.

he's missing an arm now like old esoul but my guess is he lost it in the final clash

They did make sure to zoom in on Yang's arm when he was doing the training with the armor dummy thing, showing the new gloves were fucking up his arms. Which is probably why he lost an arm in the final attack.

petty cute episode good introduction even tought as always at a breack neck speed some od things with 3d assets thought but also holy shit

be known as the calamity in orphanages known to be unlucky

still have more value than yang cheng

man the system really said fuck this kid especially

You know the whole luck thing actually reminds me of Anon Babble's Joker Quest. There was a similar thing about a girl who brought good luck to everyone because she could absorb their bad luck.
In the end, the backlash hit her and she died of sudden and virulent cancer. Her father went insane and became a supervillain.
He even founded a cult of orphans!

it was 100% new esoul, don't let the schizo tell you otherwise
every single possible sign leads to him being yang cheng

I see. I also thought the New one had won but didn't consider that the Trust merge would change him psychologically.
Interesting and thrilling.

Kek

Yeah. It stood out to me that even a kid who was known for nothing but being bad luck still managed to gather the trust of 10 people, but I think Yang's issues came down to self confidence while the boy seems to have no issues with confidence despite having shit luck.

the problem is that because the obvious CGI is more of an afterthought they didn't feel like giving it much polish resulting in shit like this(they are all completely motionless for the entire 5 seconds of this shot)

tbhxchoir.png - 1105x621, 859.1K

Was this series always planned to be an anthology series? My friends seem to be down on it because they thought it would focus on Nice the whole way through.

I would assume that his trust score is really based on how many believe in him to bring bad luck. his trust score could be amplified by people thinking he was bad luck?

I hope LC fighting villains is just complete slapstick nonsense. Increasingly absurd variations of the thing where a cartoon character is standing in the exact spot to avoid being crushed by a falling building.

its still not entirely clear what "trust" really is
could it be that 10 people just "trusted" that he is an unlucky calamity?
It wouldn't be a "fear" of him per se it would just be a very strong belief about him

it literally advertises itself in episode 1 as having a tournament arc
so more like fate or ishura maybe? op/ed obviously show that X is going to cause some sort of upset or twist when they all clash in some way
X is basically depicted as a reality-bending god and the PVs use the term "believer"

My understanding is that the director is an absolute mad lad and the first season is going to be nothing but hero introductions with a possible season 2 focusing on the hero battle royale that it was initially announced as.

anilist shows it as being 2 cour; do we know if its having a break inbetween or are we expecting another full season of 12-24 episodes after this first 24?

according to the creators more and more heroes will start appearing in the episodes dedicated to other heroes though
nice will most likely appear as well (though it will be actual Nice and not lin ling)

episodes.jpg - 1743x1080, 373.44K

it's airing weekly til X's episode. no planned breaks

several did show in the Nice arc already, and recurring characters seem to be a common theme with the brand owners and business guys behind the scenes
im sure stories overlap

Not the anon you were talking to, but, according ot the director, the plan from the beginning was to do 48 episodes. the first 24 are hero introduction arcs, then the back 24 is the heroes interacting with each other more + tournament.

see no like the actual top 10 not just random other heroes

We know how this season is going to be handled. There is no break as you can see with chart, but the director wants to do a whole another season after this one is done that will focus on the actual battle royale.
This whole first 24 episodes is nothing but setup for the next season, but the director also wants to do stuff like take popularity polls into consideration so they can effect how certain battles will play out.

fus rod dah

file.png - 1115x769, 1.29M

the plan from the beginning was to do 48 episodes

we eatin good
i think i trust this creator since I did enjoy link click a good bit
the question is can they keep up the insane quality that i've seen from the 7 episodes i've watched so far with the power of Mr. Pooh?

catfood.png - 720x952, 812.4K

it's billibilli I'm entirely sure they could do 100 series of this quality

From what they've said all the episodes are done already, so, if there is a quality drop off, it wont be due to episodes being rushed later on.

Episode was a little too fast considering Cyan has 2 more episodes but I'm guessing that after episode 2 of her arc it'll probably focus on her in the present rather than in the past. Rip Calamity though

no like the actual top 10 not just random other heroes

new e-soul briefly was shown during the mr.stand/firm man episode
also the flying guy who I thought was a nemesis from an esoul acting play in one of those first epidoes?

honestly the first 4 episodes bought me completely, even if an arc is completely shit Im willing to tough it out until later episodes

Zero went mad after getting bald

went mad after getting bald

many such cases

Lin Ling's arc is really good, but it's kind of a shame that we likely aren't getting anything with him until we get to the proper season 2. I'm looking forward to the showdown between him and E-Soul because there is absolutely no way that won't happen since Lin Ling and Yang Chang are parallels.

I-is the kid okay?

For a second I thought this was young Yang.

file.png - 344x429, 287.9K

Don't worry about how shit this arc is guys, X will save the day eventually.

that force? at least paraplegic

They're 100% going to kill this kid

We already know hes dead from Cyan's PV

Her PV pretty much spoiled it and the reason why she is seemingly aiming for X which is probably to bring him back.

Man, that boy is so extremely turbo dead. I'll be shocked if he's alive by the end of the second episode unless he's only alive cause he got turned into a villain.

Really wonder about the relationship between the reporter and the dean. They clearly know each other very closely, and the Dean seems to have had aspirations of being a hero in the past. Would make gay jokes but seeing how the reporter has a daughter I assume he's gotta have/had a wife.
Hope the dean doesn't just end up super evil. We already got Uncle Rock for that. Have the head of DOS be a different flavor of dick at least.

Cyans Dads.jpg - 1999x855, 204.93K

One episode in and Cyan's episode is already better than E-SOUL and LL

lore drop outside of the series itself

bro wtf

The power of being cute and funny.

Would make gay jokes

when has that stopped anyone? in the 1900s people have wives but that didn't stop them. same with being married in japan because even if you were gay you needed to have a family. the divorces in recent times because the wife found out their partner was gay?
people today are weak.

the PVs having lore that never gets shown (at least so far) was already quite the revelation when i was browsing youtube shit about it

Would make gay jokes but seeing how the reporter has a daughter I assume he's gotta have/had a wife.

She's probably adopted. Queen has two dads

Well at least this answers the question about the show's second half. It doesn't really seem like an if, but a sure thing. The question and answer he provided about Enlighter makes it seems like he wants to turn this into a world that he can let other creators dab in as well.

What makes me wonder about this kid is that he's named Luo in Cyan's chinese PV (they are voiced and subbed unlike the japanese ones) and the MG assistant say that he's dead... but there's also this "Professor Luo" that's mentioned by the grey haired girl in Loli's PV...

Guess the one in the right is DOS's chief?

Guess the one in the right is DOS's chief?

Yeah, and he's the Dean of the orphanage too. Clearly he ended up going from well meaning guy wanting to just make as many people as possible happy into cold blooded corpo CEO over the course of things.

It was with the help of fan translators looking into a barely legible paper in the background of ep 5 that we found out that E-soul was the original X and what is the fall of dawn incident. I feel like these huge lore drops for the dedicated few is a pattern on purpose.

The gunslinger couple in the OP really were former Xs

Huh, so I guess that means everyone in that shot going up the tower really was a former X like anons have been saying. Which would include this goofy ass motherfucker since you can barely see him standing on some platforms before it zooms in on X.

I feel like these huge lore drops for the dedicated few is a pattern on purpose.

Part of the reason I feel speculation is fun for this series is that there is value in over analyzing things.

this goofy ass motherfucker was X

based

Based Cyan.

Which would include this goofy ass motherfucker since you can barely see him standing on some platforms before it zooms in on X.

It's reflective of reality I guess. There were probably some Xs that were essentially just complete memes because that was what the world at wide decided, but they probably fell off during the next ranking.

I think that the creation of gods will be talked about in the [????] Arc. Looking at how that arc is seen accompanied with a picture of the Heros' building, (as seen here ) I think it'll detail the Commission's dedication to preventing gods from forming by creating some sort of living space, perhaps to spy(?) on them.

After I watched the whole Three Kingdoms show Chinese stopped being hard to listen to and I actually quite like it now.

Increasingly awkward days at the hero tower as a burgeoning online mass-movement boosts "The Kraft Dinner Nigger" to the top position

The plane crash was 23 years after commission, then two time skips for 9 years, Cyan current story is 32 years after commission, when did Lin Ling and Yang stories happened again?

Lin Ling happens Year 41, Yang 36

so the gay couple produced two top10 heroes

Oh absolutely. E-soul's arc especially feels like it's super dense with info. For instance, the fact that there isn't 2 enteries for him in the bilibili polls, compared to Nice and Lin Ling, is very suspicious.

They have 3 under their agency, though presumably they didn't raise Johnny since we heard in his preview that his dad was a former X.

tbhx.net/special/history/
Japanese producers of tbhx released this timeline. Do keep in mind that while the years are accurate, the images are shuffled a bit. For instance, year 36 had Firm Man's bronze statue in the background in Yang's arc, so while it's the correct year, it shouldn't be the last image.

Fomo is the based one

Sell me on this show.

So presumably all these characters in the second to last part of the OP are former Xs (and current X, and Zero match cut to X for some reason).
We saw the gunslinger couple were breaking up at the same time as Queen's graduation speech. And the plane crash had someone that took a picture with the purple chick. We've also seen broken Smile (the yellow superman clone) posters in Ling Ling's arc, so I wonder if he's the one prior to X.

Former Xs.jpg - 6747x2919, 2.49M

Maybe The Johnnies' dad was part of DOS, so they easily took the kid too? After all, DOS seems to be the oldest organization of the four, so they could have raised a few generations of heros already.

Actually, I think Mighty Glory is the oldest one.
They're E-Soul's agency, and he was the first X supposedly. Makes sense that they're the oldest and the most corrupt.
After them, I think we're about to see the founding of DOS with Cyan and Queen. I don't think it formally exists just yet since the orphanage dean is clearly the CEO of DOS and we haven't seen anything about that yet.
FOMO and Treeman are both newer. We basically got the founding of Treeman set up in E-Soul's arc: it's probably the agency Shang was trying to start with New E-Soul. After his death, his dad left MG and formally made it a real agency.

it sadly is only dubbed in chinese

I remember watching the first season in Japanese. I watched the second in Chinese since I don't mind it and didn't want to bother waiting but it's probably dubbed by now.

top center

so The Johnnies' dad was the second X, dethroning Old E-Soul.

really blew me away

Yeah, and he's the Dean of the orphanage too.

I thought they were two different people, no? The Dean is fairly young and the vision Queen had of him in the PV wouldn't make sense if it were him. I assume "Mikey" that her dad mentioned was him

I hope we get a Lucky Cyan gravure scene haha

I think you missed this guy who appears right after the purple lady, to her right.
But yeah, the Smile Hero that was discussed last week is the one X beat in the tournament in his 1.5 min pv by teleporting him to the moon. So I assume that current X got his title because of this matchup against the last X.

10 bucks says Nice accidentally flew into the planes engine and crashed it and that's the "incident."

good characters, cathartic arcs, great 2.5D/2D animation

At the current moment at least I'd say it's more of a whodunnit than a super hero show.

You're probably right on that. My guess then, from oldest to newest, is MG-->DOS-->Treeman-->FOMO. I'm guessing FOMO is last since both Loli and Ahu that belong there are pretty young (presumably 18 and 13 respectively in the year 41AC) so they couldn't have been on the job for very long.

Spoonfeed link?

Based 3K enjoyer

Did they specify how often the tournament happens?
Cause wasn't it a possible record for X if he manages to keep the title for one more tournament?
There's only 8 (9 if the couple counts as 2) heroes there, so there's no way that covers all 40 years since commission.

I'm waiting for Scar and Queen of the Stars

There's only 8 (9 if the couple counts as 2) heroes there, so there's no way that covers all 40 years since commission

Actually, it could be 10 if you count Zero as well. Anyways, I have seen some say that perhaps the tournaments aren't every year, but I'm not sure.

To turn the 2D world 3D

Alright now we got the supes, where's the boys?

file.jpg - 1200x500, 60.87K

Luo is unlucky and causes calamity around him

Learns about her power when they were kids and doesn't use it for his own selfish reasons unlike the adults around him

Doesn't let adversity get him down and stays positive (Yang could never)

Saves Cyan

Man we're gonna lose him, it's just not fair

The stupid episodes are unironically the best. I don't really care about this Cyan stuff going on now.

Is he why the heart in the OP gets pixelated? I wonder what that could mean.

file.png - 509x362, 217.41K

KEK

What could an over worked salary man want?

He probably just wants some sleep

Hmm wait a minute, is X...

p.webm - 1920x1032, 1.55M

He will get a happy ending with Cyan

Destroying the hero system by bending space and time

Her preview outright has a person that looks like a manager for her tell her that he's dead and she agrees and says it's her fault for bringing him misfortune.
So either he's turbo dead from some accident she failed to prevent, or he got whisked away by some shady shit and she just assumes and everyone tells her he's dead.

This is meant to be the 21st Tournament. And given that the commission has existed for near 41 years, seems to be done in a 2 year span trying to spread the Trust Value between each top ranker as people have favorites. If all went to just one, that'd possibly create yet another hero.

Source of the tournament number? youtube.com/watch?v=5Kau5sui4Gk

I wonder if he turns into a villain honestly given he already has the name calamity. In a way he is dead but he's dead as a person

Seems to be he won by getting an attack on Oldsoul when he used his no defense attack but he was also hit at the same time. It likely doesn't matter since E-souls electric powers let him interface a lot better with the armor but given the Vader breathing we heard at the end he likely has a whole host of other issues we don't know exactly how deep it runs
Lucky Cyan gets 3 episodes doesn't she? This guy likely gets taken care of here like manager-guy for Lin Ling and then Cyan gets an actual villain to fight later

Where can I see all the trailers and character stuff?

Did you see the 6 years later? Somewhere around 11 years passed from her getting sent to the orphanage to the makeshift concert

They don't allow gays yeah but like the noodle lesbians there's a lot of implications

OG depressed Gigachad will show up

Nice! I do wonder how good the smile incident will be given the director's teased hype for it

Nice was never top 10, but Standing Man was rank 10 at the time iirc, I believe we also got some glimpses of Lucky Cyan and E-soul briefly (rank 9) during the Standing Man episode

Thanks!

bi-yearly iirc, X has kept the title for 3 years now

The fact that the director kind of danced around answering if people can be brought from the dead by stating that would be the power of a god and that the whole commission was formed to stop a situation like Zero from ever happening again where a Hero did become a god. Cyan's goal in attaining X is likely to obtain the power to bring Luo back. This will probably be something that Lin Ling also learns in the latter half that if he attains X then he can possibly bring Moon back. X's whole goal may be wanting not to just have his successor attain X but attain the power that is beyond X and becoming a literal god to change how the entire world works.

Here's a better playlist. This one has all the character previews first, then the trailers that have some stuff we haven't seen yet, and even includes the Treeman and MG ads they put out. All the important "lore" stuff and none of the clips from the current episodes included:
youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEJTJiE35lZqEMEkrLAbY7BS_B4fS587d

Given that E-soul defeated Zero he must have agreed to the hero tournaments. I wonder if the supercut from X to Zero briefly indicates that X is trying or will become a new Zero

they got an actual dog to cosplay ahu

based

Got it! Thank you!

e-soul really wasn't the shooter

That convention where he appeared in held an off-line polling which will have its points be added to the bilibili online votes. He was 6th place in that event, but alas, he's still behind overall.

Okay, that makes more sense. Ling Ling's story is 41 AC, so it makes sense that the 21st tournament is coming up soon if they do it like at the start of the year every 2 years (so it'll be 42 AC then).

Given that, we've got 8/9 known Xs spread over 20 tournaments currently with none of them being X for more than 2 tournaments (4 years).
That could honestly fit with just the ones we've seen actually. Unless the record is counting total years rather than consecutive. If it is total, then we're at least missing one X and all of them must have done 2 tournaments.

This isn't me scuffing at your theory, but for what reason would she target Moon? E-soul makes sense since there's a rivalry going in between Treeman and MG. DOS, as far as we know, doesn't seem to pick a bone with other organizations. Plus, Moon's headshot mirrors Chao Shang's better than your pic's scene.

the lightning is cyan colored

Omg

That looks like a joke, bro.

I've unironically seen people on twitter be serious about it because the strike looks green-ish.

I mean it's not IMPOSSIBLE.

A while ago I saw some theory that Lucky Cyan was the shooter, attached was a screenshot of her aiming some bow with cyan-colored arrows.
I also kept posting about the shot being perpendicular to both Lin and E-Soul's line of sight, which means E-Soul couldn't be the shooter.
Now we have the context of Yang being manipulated by his boss, and he belongs to a different agency from Cyan. It's possible he was sent to shoot Cyan, but his boss likes suffering so it would also make sense for him to just shoot Moon. To build on my observation of the perpendicular shot, he might've bounced the shot off a nearby object to hit Moon from the side but keep himself in sight, so that he doesn't hit Lin but is still clearly seen (and thus made a rival).
