Are you ready for punished Coco?
Witch hat atelier
Just read this and I'd be down for her to gain a power up of some sort I wamma see her crushing niggers with her bare hands going fully against everything she's stood for until now.
She'll gain the powerup of fuck the law.
Yes.
Yes.
Is the anime doomed? Looks like they’re going for a generic fantasy look
youtu.be
There was never any chance of an anime that properly adapted Witch Hat's artstyle. Regardless, it looks great. The CGI roof out of nowhere was a bit jarring.
I know the anime wouldn't get this far but here's an example from a recent chap, how the fuck do you adapt this into animation without just copypasting it and panning from top to bottom?
Shaft would’ve been the perfect studio for Atelier. They would just copypaste manga panels no fucks given, allowing audience to witness true beauty
Didn't Shaft kinda shit the bed in the last few years?
She's ready to mind crush incels who use their magic to peep.
"I'm not a liar Coco, I just lie to everyone and erase peoples memories when they figure out the truth, but I don't lie!"
I really don't like Qifrey...
He's cute so I forgive him
Rare femanon?
Shaft is too faithful sometimes for better or worse. 3gatsu is still the most faithful adaptation I have seen. I think they only skipped two pages of content.
Well, he clearly have problems, but maybe it's just with Olruggio specifically.
Well, that's just a teaser so the final animation will be different, who knows.
should I read this? I remember flirting with the idea but never did
Is it good?
How the fuck would I know, I don{t know you. Main complain was that the last arc was going on for too long, but it's over now so you get the change to read it all in one go and give your two cents.
If you need someone to tell you to, then yes, read it. It's a fucking masterpiece.
bump. I can't be the only one lurking for more replies...
I've tried to read this series but I'm filtered by pandering too much to the female audience for my taste. That's not to say it's bad in fact I can't really criticize it for anything rather it's just not me sadly even though the art is beautiful.
What does he see anons?
I can agree with the sentiment, I really dislike Qifrey personally, but he's a pretty boy so most readers just forgive his antics. He really needs to pay for all the shit he's done, he can't just keep getting away with it.
Trees have no morals.
Yeah it's fun.
Last chapter reads like Anon Babbleshit
now rewrite this post but so that the words you've used in it actually mean something
scar on cheek
Good god it's been ages last thing I remember reading what everyone getting together to have some kind of grand witch festival/magic parade?
Then Coco spurred out & crying about not being able to use magic anymore how long ago/which vol was that?
If you have trouble interpreting this sentence, you need to lurk for at least 10 more years.
Kinda disappointed that she was more laser focused on Inninia and Coustas situation (something she already knew about) than Tartar's betrayal, which seemed to be the direction that the last chapter ended in.
Feels like she paid no mind to Tartar fucking off with the brimhats, which is a bizarre decision for him given that he knows that they infected Coustas with tree aids and the horrible shit they've done to Coco.
I like that Coco called him out and is putting him on his toes.
Everyone trying to groom Coco will soon get the rude awakening that Coco is going to groom THEM!
She already has her cunny harem, she can't get too greedy.
which is a bizarre decision for him given that he knows that they infected Coustas with tree aids and the horrible shit they've done to Coco.
Jokes aside, I don't think it's too bizarre, Tartar knows Qifrey did something to his grandpa, and he's been showing his suspicion of how mages operate for a while. I will agree him just walking off like that and Coco not really reacting strongly to it was a bit weird, but I think we can chalk it up to this; they were just in an incredibly traumatic situation, which led right into another one, neither of them are probably thinking properly right now. I feel like next time we see Tartar he's going to be regretting his decision, unless the brimhats use magic to fix his eyes in which case he'll probably become a radical chud.
Midnight bump
bump...
Just reread the whole series lel
Holy crap, the Silver Night's Eve is finally truly over. They first talked about it in chapter 40 from 2020 and they got to the city in chapter 47 so it took half the manga so far. It was important and it's going to flow fine on rereads, but following it monthly was grueling. I'm looking forward to how the story progresses but I hope the author can rein it in.
It's good worldbuilding and the paneling/art is extremely imaginative though the author is a bit of a westaboo and it bleeds through at times.
Yeah, but you'd expect Tartar to have a bit more sympathy towards Coco, he literally forced answers out of her physically. Almost feels like he got hit with the Coustas disease of turning rabid against his friends, except Coustas was more justifiable because he was an impoverished kid with a lot of bottled up resentment towards the world who just became a cripple.
Tartar while crippled was none of that, he worked besides Coco and knows that she isn't happy with the lies the adult witches tell her either, he even has(had?) a crush on her. Tartar acted like an absolute dickhead last chapter, him dabbling in forbidden magic makes sense and so does distrusting the Pointed hats, but turning so quickly on his friend felt a bit ooc.
He's coming off as hopelessly naive, but he does have good intentions. He's not just on the Brimhats' side.
Dunno, what he did to Coco was a bit fucked up. It's almost as if the narrative wished to imply that he felt betrayed by Coco lying just like Qifrey but not building up to it properly, Tartar just goes to the magical interrogation without even asking Coco sincerely beforehand, as if they weren't even friends anymore.
I think he's just trying to trick the Brimhats into trusting him. We'll see.
Where are you guys reading the new chapter?
I'm using comick.io since the mangadex purge.
