It's probably mostly just the setup and venue but I was comparing the piano solo during ideal paradox and the stand-in play of it at the 5th one man live. They sound pretty different and I would say I actually prefer the way Natsu played, it has this much...muted? flatter? sound during the buildup and then goes very highpitched and pretty at the peak whereas the stand in just has it sounding mostly the same throughout. It does seem rather weird though if it was just the audio, the whole thing should be different in the same way then but Natsu's play is clearly more varied.
Well it's also possible they did some things to make the piano stand out less / be easier to learn for the standins.
