The funny thing about this is that the tournament arc was very obviously written by ONE, it's his biggest original contribution to the manga and he liked some of the characters so much that he later inserted them into the webcomic. What makes it so much better is how everyone at the time cried about how the tournament was filler and didn't matter, it was the last time the manga was good and the long awaited MA raid ended up being a total flop.

the manga's story probably won't resemble anything like the webcomic's at that point anyway because of all the random extra plotlines and characters that have been introduced.
