My Hero Academia Vigilantes:

Gotta love how flat she is.

Threesome with Endeavor, Knuckleduster and Tsukauchi?

Explicit Koichi-Pop handholding or I riot

Most likely: Probably just what Koichi was doing during the final arc before he got the go ahead to leave for America

Possible: Chapter focused on Koichi and Pop in a relationship

Not impossible:8 Year timeskip for the Vigilantes cast.

Not likely: Deku and Koichi actually meeting and interacting after the war

Guess we'll see some expansion on that Epilogue shot, maybe something regarding the ending to the main mango too.

i dont have any expectations from this terrible fucking mangaka

this but unironic. like fucking hell what was that ending. the only good thing hori did was mha was set the precedent to make a epilogue chapter where they finally hook up

hori isn't the mangaka or story writer for vigilante, as far as I've heard he's pretty much just a supervisor

Maybe you'll get to see them rebuilding stuff around the city and Koichi goes to visit Naruhata again after being absent for over 5 years, you could get a bit of a reunion and maybe toss in Class 1-A or at least Aizawa too.

Pop ASS

That's great news.
Koichi and Pop hanging out in America would be nice. Alternatively, showing Koichi's perspective on the events of MHA when he comes back to help clean up could be interesting.

oh, neat. maybe we'll get to see koichi officially in action as the skycrawler

I wonder how long the chapter will be, hopefully it's something like 50+ pages so we get a decent amount of content out of it at least.

I miss the storytime

Netorare

We could re-do it for the anime premier.
I'm busy with work as of recent but i could dump suepr late eurotime. I'd just need someone to point me to the best narration+best quality. Its the official Shueisha thing right?

for the anime premier.

didn't that happen last week

It's probably too early to re-do a story time, maybe after the season, or whenever 2nd cour airs.

narration

Translation* sowwy.

After s1 ending it is!
We shall convene back alongside some animeonly frens!

An uncensored sex scene, isn't this manga a seinen?

I guess it'd make sense to do one after the season ends since that'll probably attract animeonlys who want to read ahead

How far do you think we'll get on 26 episodes?

How's episode 1 doing as far as the online reaction?

most people i see seem to like it, a bunch of twittertards got upset that Koichi was afraid of facing down 3 people who already beat him up earlier until he saw Pop instead of attacking them blindly

Sky Egg

b-b-but it flopped

Holy FUARK!!! I can't believe it, hatefafs BTFO

I look so fondly back at the old storytime bc ive had the worst freaking job during its duration and it dumped just as i was finishing around 7pm my time.
I got to see Koichi raise above at the same time i was actively wishing to do the very same.

hatefafs

I really wonder if they'll do some battle extensions and stuff by the time they fully adapt this. I think tapping into the power of animation to really portray how Six is would be wonderful.

six my turn.jpg - 664x511, 177.13K

Koichi's all american family with Makoto, of course.

Makoto is for threesomes with CC and his wife

Vigilantechads won

What are you hoping to see?

My FUARKING hero the skycruller taking down Wall Street for good.

yeah, fuck wall street
I imagine that will go down well with the anime onlies when it drops

twitter

To be expected
Those types of people are allergic to character development

I still can't believe this got adapted
I'm so happy

spoilers anon, there are anime onlys watching

Seeing KD do his thing in motion reminded me how much he puts me in mind of Frank Miller's Marv, among other Frank Miller characters. Dude seems to be a love letter to Miller if you ask me.

It's more like the fanbase has enshrined the of thoughtless, suicidal action as the purest expression of heroism. And they're not really to blame, because it's Hori himself who pushes that belief in his work, through Deku's actions at the beginning that won him OFA, with All Might confirming it as the truth and then a bunch of other scenes throughout the manga further reinforcing it. If you hesitate to throw yourself into danger, you ain't the real deal.

The fanbase is really aligned with Stain on that matter.

To be clear, that kind of instinctual heroism isn't bad at all, and Vigilantes itself has it too, but it was hammered down so hard by the main story that the fanbase ends up seeing characters who fail to live up to this standard as lesser.

The common throughline between Koichi and Deku seems to be a moment of hesitation followed by a tough choice that had to have been made vs springing to action before the thought can even form with the result being more or less the same.

Makes sense for Deku to be that way since ue embodies youthful and borserline childish enthusiasm about heroicsn whereas Koichi is a bit beaten down into submission by the powers that be, but can not possibly refuse a call to action whenever one presents itself.

Deku's fight scenes just stop having any weight once he learns to use his ability without turning his limbs into meatloaf. Action scenes just become a lot less interesting regardless of illustration ability if you don't have the slightest feeling that the POV character is in danger of getting hurt. And his characterization is hurt by a lot less interesting foils, interacting with neither Shiggy or AfO didn't really make him anything more interesting. Whereas both Koichi and 6 had the whole "I want to become someone" desire going on but they approached it differently in a way that fleshed out both of them.

I must agree, but it feels bad to shit on MHA where it couldn't have possibly been perfect seeing as it's DA BIG shonen of it's age. These things are basically on par with capeshit as far as workflow and writing by popularity polls goes.

I won't forgive the Bakuwank that has absolutely no conclusion or anything of weight to it aside from the movies.,

crawler and pops wedding

there will be a gag about how Koichi becomes america's #1 hero by default because Stars and Stripes died and Celebrity retires

People always compare Koichi with Deku, but how does Pop Step compare to Ochako?

MHA is the only series that still gets constant terrible takes

Is this shit worth watching for her, I just downloaded the first episode on a whim and the OP is really hypnotizing

They have nothing to do with each other, not even Koichi and Deku. Profoundly different characters. Also Pop is wife material while Ochaco is NTR material

no
she's the least important of the main characters
and if you're after fanservice, the manga is so much better it's not even funny

Dude NO CONTEST.
One of them doesn't even have an arc and fliplops between being a not-love interest and just a background character whereas the other kickstarts the plot, is the "guy in the chair" and a main motivation behind the events of the ending and also actually has some interesting dynamics + the whole Naruhatafest! arc.

All Ochunko does is be around while the MC does things

We're gonna force you to be really really into adult women about three arcs from now buddy.

Fuck

The manga does condemn mindless suicidal heroism, but ultimately it says that there are things worth risking your life for. Anyways, do these fags also hate Kirishima and Mina for hesitating against Gigantomachia?

I don't think it's a mutually exclusive thing to be a popular weekly series while having decent writing. Konjiki no Gash is probably the best series that manages to handle a giant cast while being a weekly battle centric shonen series.
Probably the most frustrating about MHA is that the elements are there for good characterization, but Horikoshi just doesn't do anything with them. Deku idolizes All Might and you could get a really character arc if All Might either died or did something to lose his trust, but him losing his powers just leads to flat development for Deku. Bakugo is set up to become a villain in the eyes of the public due to him acting like an ape and it could've lead to something of a redemption arc for him to publicly redeem himself. But they do nothing with him between the point where he refuses to join the villains and the final fight. Similar thing with Iida in Stain arc where he has a good setup for desire for revenge, but they do nothing with it.

Its funny this is happening given how Vigs for years parade this notion that it was the superior series and that Kouichi was better and then the anime comes along and everyone is shitting on it,

Pop Sex

A lot of people completely tapped out mentally reading it hence why you still get retarded and false shit like and said about it

Untrue, she gets a lot of screentime

got upset that Koichi was afraid of facing down 3 people who already beat him up earlier until he saw Pop instead of attacking them blindly

I can see a valid reason to hate it, its yet another instance of retarded white-knighting. Despite the fact that he clearly saw he was outmatched, he ignored that because "leave the lady be".
(and almost got himself killed in the process)

retarded and false shit like

Care to elaborate? What exactly did Ochako contribute? From what I remember there's entire volumes where she's completely irrelevant.

Thanks for proving my point retard

Admits to have no read the series

Care to elaborate

Sad that it took you fags going full retard with the Mcdonalds meme for people to stop taking you seriously

retard.jpg - 478x424, 79.06K

I really should reread the manga or at least the the final act saga because its kinda a mush for me in my head

Pray tell what did she accomplish between learning CQC in the training arc and talking down Toga.

>"Admits to have no read the series"

reading comprehension

wow, now I see why mainstream shonenfags have their reputation. Well deserved

What did she accomplished aside from taking down one of the main villains

You really are retarded

Gets called out for being a retard talking out his ass

Shounen fags amirite?

1645009888706.jpg - 1920x1080, 296.06K

Yes, she does something in the last arc of the series. The important word in that post is "between". She gets no meaningful characterization between the point where she learns to defend herself a bit and the final arc.

She gets no meaningful characterization between the point where she learns to defend herself a bit and the final arc.

Just say you don't read the manga bro

Bakugo gets fed up with hero-world red tape bs

Doesnt want to villain either.

Decides to become a vigilante hero and perform so well that the entire hero world and the public at large will be forced to acknowledge him

Has a gay angsty character arc with Deku trying to get him back into the straught and narrow/joining him as a vig temporarily

Why did hori just do fucking nothing with him

She gets no meaningful characterization between the point where she learns to defend herself a bit and the final arc.

Man after reading the series back in August I can see why so many fans got fed up with talking about the series here. Its like posters would rather be retarded than make an argument

Thank fuck you're not a writer
A lot of criticism towards MHA is mainly people being mad that the series didn't become like their shitty fanfic. Most of the complaints here is him getting mad at the series for not following his headcanon which sounds awful.

isn't vigs like 100+ chapters? I don't think they'll get far even with 2 seasons

what if pop step was sexy?

damn
probably a bonus epilogue chapter but I wouldn't mind a sol chapter set during one of the gap times

Thank fuck you're not a writer

:(
I felt that basically boilts down and distills the essence of what he does at UA tho. He just shows up and detests the way things are done and then manages to keep up his sperg ways by the mantle of sheer competence.
The whole point of his kidnapping was that everyone could see he isnt really THAT into a lot of what heroics stand for

Nah,the Storytime doesn't even have a year.
also there the schizo who always tries to ruin the Vigilantes threads.

six shows up early

now this

I hope they don't rush the adaptation..

everyone could see he isnt really THAT into a lot of what heroics stand for

And they were wrong. Being a villain isn't as simple being a selfish asshole, it's about turning against society, which Bakugo had no intention of doing. Whether for nice reasons or not, he was fully aligned with the establishment. That's just the kind of manga MHA is.

*as simple as, dang it

first episode was as good as it could have been

oh thank god
I hope this does well, I really want to see the later arcs adapted, especially the finale and the underground fight club. The world deserves to see teenage Mirko animated.

Koichi is the 34th most important character in MHA despite existing for exactly one panel.

RETARD, RETARD, RETARD!

YOU DIDN'T READ THE MANGA

NO, I WON'T MAKE ANY ARGUMENTS, FUCK YOU

RETARD, RETARD, RETARD!

Good god, just shut up, you've proven your point, you're a total brainlet.

eh, it was nothing special
it has that lower budget spinoff quality to it, fittingly enough
I don't want it to be too popular, because then the discussion quality will take a nosedive

Untrue, she gets a lot of screentime

I didn't say she doesn't get screentime
but she still doesn't matter much

but what about-

no
not even then

you gotta admit she is pretty sexo during that section of the plot though

didn't really work for me, even though it really should have
dunno why
but fair enough

it has that lower budget spinoff quality to it, fittingly enough

ney

I don't want it to be too popular, because then the discussion quality will take a nosedive

yey

I can't wait for animeonly fans to find out Vigilantes is better than MHA

Seasonals don't get much porn anymore. FOTM Gacha waifus and vtubers suck up all the artists for that now. A real shame, I was looking forward to Makoto sex art

the woman who says koichi's quirk looks like a cockroach says "his quirk gives me the ick" in burgerese
