I already bought a ticket. You guys don't know how much steel ball run means to me. I just don't think the anime will live up to the manga. The art in the manga is soo fucking good. From Scary Monsters till the end Araki made some of his best panels and pages of all time.

The anime has never been able to capture the detail in Araki’s art. Just compare Killer Queen’s intro in the anime vs manga. At least the sound design will be top notch, that’s the one good thing about DP

Now that I think about it is my 3rd least favorite part, still good overall though. Only parts I think are worse are 6 and 8 but I haven't even started 9, but I like every part over all except 8.

That's the worst part to do as a live action. You need good-looking young Italian actors, a lot of gore and choose what the hell adapt because it's by far the most episodic part of JoJo. Even Stardust Crusaders you have things you can easily skip to focus on the important arcs, Vento Aureo have a lots of cool but largely irrelevant fights and a movie would feel too bloated or too empty if they skip the majority of La Squadra. It also has a bunch of stand vs stand fights that would require an awful lot of CGI.
