Americans Now in charge of Tenchi Muyo! outside Japan

Aren't this the people that hate Kajishima?

Yeap. But I don't blame them.

I tried to watch the 4th and 5th OAVs a couple years ago and couldn't stand them.
Tell me which way parallel continuity #16 here is gonna go so I can decide if there's a 5% chance I'll care.

Expect an americanised version of Tenchi universe pretty much. That's the gold standard for them.

Who cares? Kajishima raped the franchise to death more than 20 years ago.

I will support my wife anyway I can.

God, I miss those days of anime. It's been going through a bunch of old shows from the early 90s, some that I've watched before, and some that I've never watched. It's just so different.
I can't watch anything new, with very few exceptions. It's like everything has changed about anime, aside from the fact that it's animated and occasionally made in Japan. It's just pathetic and sad now.

I bet a woman is going to run this. American bitches love Tenchi for some unexplicable reason, see Rebecca Sugar and Dana Terrance

You can't really ruin it. It's been a dead franchise for 25 years.

That's nwhy they are trying to revive it. duh

You are not far off. I know for a fact that group has huge Kiyone and mihoshi shippers. I do fully expect it to become canon in their universe.

Far from it. They just annoubnced a new gxp novel

Isn't this literally just the pre-existing US OC comic side series.

These comics are almost thirty years old.

That is literally what OP just said in his post you goddamn illiterate cum dumpster.

Read the op carefully. Literally the first line. It's for people like you. You're welcome

Well, as long as they skip the later OVAs and don't constantly whine about the girls, I don't see the harm.

Yes, so it's really just licensing and non-canon.

Jesus is it rally that hard to read the OP? IT'S NOT.

GXP is shit though, and exemplifies how Kajishima ruined the franchise.

Oh, they're basing it on the shitty American comics? I forgot those even existed. No one even talked about them back in the 90s. I only ever read the Okuda ones with Minagi. I think I have some lying around somewhere.

Yeah they are basing their new content on those old comics. That was their deal with AIC

Why do nips keep doing this shit? Did they learn nothing from Harmony Gold?

Dibs on Aeka. She's my Tenchiwaifu.

Go ahead. No one wants her.

That is true. I'm surprised the entire world has such shit taste.

Go be queer somewhere else.

You sound like a Washuufag.

No.

Dana Terrance like Ayeka. The Owl House is her Tenchi/Ayeka fic but she turned Tenchi into a woman for some reason

Pure cancer, then.

No one even talked about them back in the 90s

They had a very limited print run and they were like three bucks an issue which was a was kind of expensive at the time when most other comics where a whole dollar cheaper.

They were also discontinued because someone stole their budget money and fled

The Story of Tenchi is fractured enough already that an American continuity continuing alongside the "True GXP" & Paradise Novels won't really ruin anything.
It's not like Kajishima hasn't written characters out of their context before, even within the same series.

Besides, more Tenchi is never a bad thing.

Rebecca Sugar and Dana Terrance

probably why I like their body of work
"ourgals" afterall

Yeah, and if it does well that means there might be interest in continuing the Japanese continuities.

The sci-fi worldbuilding and visual set design is underrated and surprisingly impressive and imaginative. And it's all carried on top of this cast with really fun designs and personalities. There's not much anime like it.

I have no issues with Kiyone and Mihoshi as a pair. Tenchi always had the best chemistry with Ryoko and Ayeka anyway.

calarts slop enjoyer.

So what? quit baiting people, if this happens they'll just be like any other weeb comics no one read back then, you just want cry about stuff like a bad YouTube grifter. Have you ever read any anime inspired or based comics? They're usually fine or mid, it'll probably be like Adam Warren's Dirty Pair or Fred Perry's Gold Digger also the art actually good on these unlike most anime inspired comics of the time. WAH WOKE WAH SJWS WAH TRANNIES!

I hope this means other forgotten anime based comics get reprinted. Central Park Media did a lot of them

I mean, if this continues to do well, why not? This is already nearly $10k over their goal.

You are projecting hard. I never made a single complaint. Go seek proffesional help please.
