A lot of mahjong anons said to watch whatever shows Pon no Michi referenced since they're better. I read or watched all of them since and while they are better, a lot of them are shit too. Like Mukoubuchi or Tetsuya or Naki no Ryuu, I'v read them all and for the most part, they're awful.

Recently watched this, the worst episode is the first one by a mile, and while the rest wasnt good it wasnt godawful either.

It's a tie between one of the braindead moeslop slice of slife or some of the shit with titles that look a clickbait headline "HOW I REINCARNATED FROM MEGA LOSER TO GREATEST HERO OF ISEKAI LAND" those are really fucking bad. I thought the seasonal shonen was as dumb as it gets but that's nothing compared to some of the stuff made for the hardcore otaku wankers, ecchi, "comfy" moeslop SoL, isekai, it's just so fucking bad. I no longer watch things with long Japanese titles that get recommended to me

I vividly remember it, the dialog was so cringe on the 1st episode that I immediately dropped it and I used to watch tons of crap back then without caring about quality

I was expecting something much more grounded and thoughtful based on the poster and summary. It was disappointing to find out that S;G was about a dumb idiot like Okabe and his hijinks, I really thought him being a university student instead of a highschooler meant we would get a cast of adults.

Eureka Seven AO. Like, god damn, this show sought to attack me personally with the intent to deal psychological harm. I am so fucking mad about this show, even more than a decade later. There is no excuse for the bullshit that show tried to pull, or how it went out of its way to actively shit on the original series and its characters seemingly for no reason other than pure goddamn spite.
I remember watching this dumb shit called corpse party or whatever many years ago.
