The latest Kagurabachi arc could've been a race against time and introduced a lot of new characters in a short amount of time. Instead it focused on Samura who is boring as fuck and the writing is all over the place. The raid thats happening rn would be good if the antagonists weren't complete jobbers. It's readable but a lot of my good faith from a strong and impressionable start is gone.

People complained that the pacing was too fast, well he slowed down, this is the result. I think some people just prefer a faster pace, that and some people produce better work when they have less slack because it forces them to trim down things that don't work. KGB's first arc is as good as it is because Takeru was writing with the constraint of needing to end the arc as a possible series finisher.

I think Samura is pretty well written though.

He is just putting in the spotlight characters already introduced.

I was following Kiyoshi weekly, but got really fed up with how dismissively the female characters are treated (sexualizing them is ok/good but I hate when every girl just has a crush on a guy or is weak and takes a backseat to some faggot).
